SPRMRKT (Singapore Tyler Print Institute)
A multi-purpose space that works well on all fronts.
SPRMRKT has opened a sister outlet (expanding from its McCallum Street space) at Robertson Quay. The space, which offers both a cafe (SPRMRKT daily) and restaurant (SPRMRKT Kitchen & Bar) is in the Singapore Tyler Print Institute building.
Like the original, SPRMRKT is a casual cafe with brunch fare such as eggs benedict ($14), yoghurt and granola ($12), and sausages with mash ($17). The menu also features pastas, burgers and craft beers. The space also accommodates a retail area, where you can buy artisanal goods, books, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables.
Above the cafe is an elegant new restaurant concept designed with a marble bar counter, soft colors and classic artworks. It has separate operating hours (11:30am-3pm and 6pm-10pm on weekdays; 9am-4pm and 6pm-10pm on Saturdays; and 9am-6pm on Sundays). The menu offers international dishes with a local spin, such as Spanish octopus with Asian twisted romesco ($65), brussel sprouts with sambal mayo ($8) and ribs with salted egg and watercress ($28).
